OGKK 40th aniversary Exchange Reception

After the Demonstrations at the National theater of Okinawa, the exchange reception was held.

Friendship was deepened among participants from Okinawa, the mainland of Japan and overseas and the others contributing to OGKK and the success for each individual involed were wished!

Following the Association’s 40th Anniversary Demonstration Tournament, a social gathering was held near the National Theater of Okinawa. Instructors and students from Okinawa, the mainland, and overseas deepened their bonds. Entertainment performances featuring songs and dances from various countries were presented, creating a lively atmosphere. The Minei Dojo also performed Nanko Minei sensei’s “Chinnukujushi” and “Gakkosei”—pieces that are an absolute must at such events—further energizing the venue!

Nanko Minei sensei singing a Okinawan tradtional folk song called “Chinnukujushi” to the accompaniment of a Sanshin of Tokimitsu san with back dancers behind the Sensei Nanko sensei’s party piece, “Chinnuku Jūshī”, with Tokimitsu san on the sanshin — and backup dancers, of course.
