Appearing as an Extra in "Kikoe-Ogimi (Chifijin)" h

December 15, 2009 (Sun) Ryukyuan Classical Music: Nomura-ryu Matsumura Togenkai

I appeared as an extra in the original play Kikoe-Ogimi (Chifijin): Oaraori, part of the 100th-anniversary commemorative performance. I had just one line! The photos show Tatsuro from the Minei Dojo and me right after getting our makeup done before the performance (top), and a photo with members of the “Tsuhako Bojutsu Preservation Society” just before our scene (bottom). Tatsuro and I belong to the Tsuhako Bojutsu Preservation Society, and we’ve always been greatly supported by Mr. Ryutaro Yamashiro, Chairman of the Togenkai, and Mr. Takeshige Miyagi. We appeared in the performance as a way to repay their kindness.
